The DRANSE

Close to Geneva, the Dranse of Savoie rises in the area of the Portes du Soleil and flows into the Geneva Lake in Thonon-Les-Bains. It gets its reputation of a technical river due to its spectacular dimensions in spring and the digging of its bed in enormous rocks. It is rated as one of the most beautiful spots in Europe. Discovery tour Open to everyone, this beautiful technical tour requires constant manoeuvre. The river never gets monotonous, whether when rising in spring or becoming technical in the summer.

Season :	April to October
Stretch :	from the rapids of “La Grille” to the “Maison brûlée” (6km)
Duration :	approximately 1.5 hour on the river (5 hours including transportation)
Difficulty :	classe II - IV
Minimum age :	12
Activities :	raft, canoe-raft, kayak-raft, hydrospeed
