The GIFFRE

Rated as the second glacial river of Haute-Savoie, the Giffre rises in the cirque of Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval. You will start this rather quiet rafting course in narrow and steep gorges that conceal beautiful rapids. Once the chaos is behind, the serene alpine settings and peace of the waters offer you a pure moment of relaxation.

Season :	May to October
Stretch :	from Sixt to Samoens (11 km)
Duration :	approximately 1.5 hour on the river (5 hours including transportation)
Difficulty :	classe I - III
Minimum age :	10
Activities :	raft, canoe-raft, kayak-raft

Meeting point: 8am at our base in Veyrier
Return trip included.
